1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to remember your preferences, enhance your experience, and understand how users interact with websites.
Refinix uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage and session storage) to provide, improve, and protect our Service. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Refinix may operate as a beta or early-access platform, and cookie and storage technologies may evolve as features are developed and improved.

3. Similar Technologies
3.1 Local Storage
We use browser local storage to persist user preferences and data that doesn't require server transmission. This includes:
- Dashboard filter and sort preferences
- User layout customizations
- Cached notification preferences
- Recently accessed content and interface preferences
Duration: Until manually cleared by the user or browser cache is cleared
3.2 Session Storage
Session storage is used for temporary data during your active session:
- Form inputs and unsaved drafts
- Navigation state
- Temporary session-related state information
- Session-specific user interactions
Duration: Cleared when the browser tab is closed
3.3 Web Beacons and Pixels
We may use lightweight measurement technologies to measure engagement and effectiveness of our communications. These do not store data on your device but transmit information to our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used on Refinix:
Plausible Analytics
Purpose: Privacy-first website analytics (no cookies, no personal data)
Privacy Policy: https://plausible.io/data-policy
Infrastructure and CDN Providers

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

Important: Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core Service features.

5.2 Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. Currently, there is no industry standard for recognizing DNT signals. Refinix does not respond to DNT browser signals at this time, but you can use browser settings to control cookies.
5.3 Analytics Opt-Out
Plausible Analytics does not use cookies and does not track you across sessions. Because it is cookie-less and does not collect personal data, no opt-out mechanism is required. You may still block the Plausible script via your browser or network settings if you wish.
